“AAG supports us with everything relating to our IT.  None of the Haus Homes’ team are in the slightest bit technical so it’s vitally important that we have an IT partner we can trust. AAG helped us integrate our different software providers and were also instrumental in recommending other suppliers for services such as our great new phone system. We simply pay a modest monthly amount and they take care of the rest."

"When we first met with AAG, we explained what we felt we needed as a new start up business. They listened, really understood our vision and aspirations, and came up with a plan for us. They ordered all our hardware and installed and tested it before we opened the doors. They also liaised with our software providers to ensure everything was seamless.”

"I’d recommend AAG to anyone looking for solid IT consultancy and support, especially if you are just starting a new business venture. They were on hand from day 1, offering advice and support to help us fully understand our needs. The solution they provided us with is completely scalable, meaning it can grow with us as we continue to flourish in the future. We’ve found a true technology partner in AAG.”

“Our IT systems are essential in the day to day running of the school. It’s vital our systems work properly as all of our registers, lunch orders and finance are all done electronically to increase efficiency. Any downtime would cause massive issues for us. AAG alerted me to GDPR in late 2016 and invited me to a Demystifying GDPR event with other organisations. The learning I picked up at this event enabled me to alert the board of governors and the Head Teacher about GDPR and its implications to us. It really helped us get ahead of the game in preparing for GDPR”

“AAG facilitated a GDPR audit, where an external body comes in to help make sure we are compliant. It was a tremendous help, not only in highlighting things we need to work on but also boosting our confidence that we are taking the right steps towards compliance ready for 25th May 2018 and beyond."

AAG has been working with AEON Financial Services Limited for the last 9 months.  The initial project involved transferring their support from a previous provider and moving all their infrastructure to a hosted environment, including a full Office 365 migration and taking their servers and backup to a cloud solution.  Talking about the process and the experience of working with AAG, Andy Hill, Director of AEON said:

“Initially I had various concerns which included possible disruption/loss of productivity that may have occurred during the planned changes, loss of client data, would response times be as promised, and whether the change to a cloud-based system would actually deliver significant operational improvements.

I was very pleased with the way the actual handover took place and the response times to issues as they arose. I was also impressed with how the team understood our needs; they were clearly less bespoke than we thought! I was also really pleased with the allocation of an account manager who has been a great help and is very proactive in her approach.

AAG is a very professional organisation and the team are always prepared to invest time to better understand our needs and concerns. They have been proactive in seeking feedback about how we feel our needs are being met and respond quickly if there are areas of concern. Technically they seem very astute and creative in the solutions they recommend. We would happily recommend AAG as a true IT partner.”

A F Fasteners, manufacturer of precision materials for the aerospace industry, has a long standing relationship with AAG spanning over 4 years.  Their support contract gives them access to AAG’s multi-skilled service desk, on-site engineers as required and a dedicated Account Manager and Technical Lead who ensure that the companies’ IT requirements are constantly fit for purpose.  Most recently A F Fasteners went through the transition to take their servers to a cloud hosted environment.  Liz McKay, Finance Controller, said:

“During the initial discussion around moving to a cloud hosted environment I was impressed with the detail in the proposals AAG put forward for the migration and also the project plan.  Both were clear and concise and also gave more than one option within the various sections of the project and a recommendation as to what they felt would work best.  I have also been pleasantly surprised with the professionalism of all aspects of AAG.  From Laura the account manager, to everyone who answers the helpdesk calls and all the engineers.   Everyone is always polite and helpful and we are never made to feel we are asking a stupid question.

I can’t say that we never have issues with our IT systems, because of course things go wrong sometimes and we regularly change things to suit our business, but we have found AAG to be quick to respond to our needs and if there is something urgently required they always do their best to work on it as quickly as possible.  I feel we are also kept updated on ongoing issues, even without asking. I would recommend AAG to other companies because they always do what they say they will do.”

“We take enquiries via our website – if these are not received immediately the customers would go elsewhere.  As with most other businesses we monitor all of our businesses now via IT and are lost when it goes down. It is invaluable having support on the end of the phone whenever there is a problem, hence reducing any down time. AAG are friendly and approachable which is particularly important when IT knowledge is very limited and we aren’t exactly sure what the problem is. “

Red Arrow is an importer and distributor of lighting and electrical equipment to the electrical wholesale industry who currently employ 35 people and have been a customer of AAG for 3 years.

“AAG is a company that is large enough to provide the support that is required, but small enough for the individual team members to make a difference. Any downtime is detrimental to sales, operational efficiency, customer relationships and staff morale! Since all processes rely on IT, having AAG’s cloud services is an assurance for the business, to know we aren’t dependant on hardware which could fail or be subject to cyber-attacks and damage“

BLoom media Ltd

Bloom Media is a small legal practice specialising in media law.

“We are acutely aware of the importance of protecting client data and reputation. Whilst attending the annual Solicitors Regulators Authority’s COLP/COFA conference I was interested to hear the SRA’s recommendation that small firms should obtain Cyber Essentials certification as an alternative to ISO 27001.

AAG managed the entire process in a professional manner, enabling us to become certified with minimal effort. They also provided recommendations and I.T. policy documentation to assist with ongoing compliance and contingency planning. It is reassuring to know that our I.T. systems follow cyber security best practices.

I can thoroughly recommend AAG’s services to any of my industry colleagues.”

Thornhill Group is the only UK provider of the complete cycle of heat exchanger services encompassing design, engineering, installation, repairs and servicing.

“The business is extremely dependent on IT. Without it, we’d lose the chance to win thousands of £’s worth of jobs, fabrication/manufacturing would come to a standstill and we wouldn’t be able to run as a business. We had an issue with our network where somebody brought in a router from home and plugged in into a network port which blocked the company’s internet off completely. Nobody was aware that this person had done this, and that person was unaware of the consequences of doing this. AAG managed to track down the issue and resolve it. I would recommend using AAG, Thornhill was an existing customer with AAG before I joined, but it is easy to log a fault, quick service and nice friendly staff.”
